Blender: Modeling a SciLab Desk (Adding a Cabinet)

I'm still playing with displacement maps drawn in another software program (Flash and GIMP) and then used in Blender. I'm not sure that this cabinet is overly useful but it's still a neat method and I just want to explore it a little more.
