A Splendid morning behind 68027

A return trip to Liverpool from Manchester on the inaugural run of TransPennine Express' Nova 3 – 24 August 2019.
A loco-hauled service being gradually introduced through the back end of 2019, and on until the May 2020 timetable change.
Today was the first outing of the class 68 and carriage stock.
05:55 Manchester Victoria to Liverpool Lime Street.
Followed by the next leg the 06:56 to Scarborough.
