PANACEA Alchemical Transformation Analogy Part II

PANACEA Alchemical Transformation Analogy Part II The story of the well-meaning gardener that attempted to help the butterfly from the eclosion process by freeing it from the chrysalis, and growth process during its critical time of transformation, demonstrates a very challenging, yet extremely valuable lesson for each of us.

Struggling is an integral part of everyone’s growth experiences and transformative process. In fact, it is the struggle that gives us the tools and ability to develop our wings to fly. Our good intentions to save or rescue other’s will only cause them more harm because it will enable them by taking their power or “wings” away, depriving them of developing the necessary competence and skills in life.

The gardener did not realize that the struggle is part of the transformation process. Attempting to eliminate the struggle of the butterfly’s emergence from the chrysalis in fact hurts or could even kill the butterfly. Similarly, helping a struggling chick hatch from an egg would also kill the inhabitant. Learning how to overcome our own challenges and obstacles is a natural part in all forms of life and for all of life’s creation.
