What I'm Reading Ep 1: Small Butt, Hurt Knees

What I'm Reading Ep 1: Small Butt, Hurt Knees Ever wonder why you only feel your quads?
-
When your glutes aren’t active enough (sleepy butt syndrome) your hamstrings take over.
-
That’s nice of them but... that just makes them get more tight.
-
Which pulls against the knee and fights with the quad.
-
Which the quads have to balance out (this is called a force couple relationship)
-
Which makes your hamstring pull even harder.
-
You ever hear about feedback loops? That’s what this is. -
It becomes a viscous cycle that make your knees hurt (or tears your patella) -
It keeps your ass small
-
And it makes it harder to fix this in the long term
-
So here’s the deal. If you DONT feel your glutes when you squat, or your knees hurt, share this to your story, tag me, and I will DM you a solution. -
