In a New Year’s message, the PM pledged to kick-start the roaring twenties by ending the “division, rancour and uncertainty” which has plagued Britain. He vowed to start a “new chapter” in Britain’s history by delivering Brexit, beefing up the NHS, and pumping cash into schools.
Holding out an olive branch to his critics, Boris also promised to try to heal the country’s bitter divisions by governing in the interests of all Brits.
