Subscribe to our channel! rupt.ly/subscribe US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo replied "when the time is right, all good things happen," to a reporter's question on if he would testify in the impeachment inquiry against US President Donald Trump. The comment was made during a State Department briefing given in Washington D.C., on Tuesday.
Pompeo also touched on the ongoing protests in Hong Kong, and said that US administration has "the commitment that the Chinese government made as part of their obligations to maintain one country and two systems," and that they are "continuing to work towards" that.
The Secretary of State also commented on Turkey's test of the Russian S-400 missile system on Monday, calling it "concerning."
"We have made very clear to the Turkish government our desire to see them move away from putting into full operationalisation the S-400 weapons system," he concluded.
