House raided in Oman for illegal furniture works

Muscat Municipality in coordination with the Royal Oman Police raided a house in Al Amerat, where expatriate workers illegally conducted carpentry activities.

“Muscat Municipality in Al Amerat in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police raided a residential building where expat workers were conducting the illegal activity of furniture upholstery in violation of the Municipal laws and regulations.” - Muscat Municipality.

This act is a clear violation of the Consumer Protection Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 66/2014.
