FAVORITE THANKSGIVING RECIPES:


Truffled cauliflower gratin:


Mashed potatoes:


Celery stuffing (I make it vegetarian by subbing vegetable broth made from cubes. Can also be made vegan):


Cranberry sauce ingredients:

1 cup organic cane sugar or turbinado sugar
The juice from 3 small navel oranges
½ cup water
12 oz fresh cranberries, all stems removed
cinnamon stick
a few pieces of orange peel

Directions:

Add sugar, orange juice, & water to a saucepan over medium heat. Stir to incorporate sugar. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer while stirring frequently. Cook for 10 minutes, or until all or most cranberries have popped. Remove from heat and cool at room temp for 30 minutes. Refrigerate and serve cold.
