Well, not exactly according to Thomas Henry Horan. But then, he is of the opinion that the Zodiac is not actually even a real person, rather that it was all an elaborate hoax which Hal Snook was at the center of.

Hal Snook was a 2 times war veteran, having served in both World War 2 and the Korean War, he was also a deputy in the Napa County Sheriff's Dept, a respected crime scene investigator and regarded as an authority figure on fingerprinting by the US Supreme Court. So for such an upstanding citizen to be accused of being at the center of the Zodiac saga certainly caused something of a stir, and in this Zodiac Killer documentary we will discuss the reasons why he was suspected of this.

Thomas Horan is of the opinion that Hal Snook, along with Vallejo Police Department and other law enforcement agencies, created the the Zodiac Hoax in order to cover up murders that they could not find a suspect for. He also states that Snook wrote all of the Zodiac killer letters and ciphers, claiming that his handwriting is an exact match with the Zodiac's.

In addition to this, Thomas Henry Horan maintains that if the Zodiac really did exist then he would have been nothing but honest in the letters that he sent to the press – he believes that when the writer of these letters is being misleading then that is proof that Zodiac does not actually exist. What do you think? Is Horan correct in what he says, or is he trying to destroy the reputation of a two times combat veteran and respected law man? Let me know in the comments below!
