It's not hard to see why this whippet has over 10,000 followers on Instagram. Beans has been in movies, won service dog awards, and most importantly, surfs with the best of them. The whippet does all of this despite the fact that she’s deaf. She and her owner, Jen, have traveled around the country in an RV, competing in surf competitions. However, Jen has recently had to make the tough decision to retire Beans after the dog was diagnosed with bone spurs. Although Beans may be done with surfing, Jen has a younger whippet who is ready to take the torch, and she intends on adopting more!
