Boris Johnson wanted to 'silence' parliament to 'further his political aims' The highest court in the land is hearing the most important constitutional law case in decades. The question the judges must consider is who is right - Boris Johnson or Parliament?

Mr Johnson was accused of abusing his power to silence MPs. But the Government's lawyer said it was a political decision and not a matter for lawyers.
