The new album from Jonny Phillips, 'The Interim', lands on the 9th August 2019.
Fusing rock and roots with a healthy dose of folk and blues, The Interim is a journey of familiarity with a unique twist focussing on the world and it's socitey today.
After touring with roots/rock legends Wille & the Bandits, Jonny has gone on to record a solo album of songs about the times we're living in, with both a personal view and a more general perspective.
We're living in ambiguous times with so much unfairness in hierarchy. 'Admiring The View', the latest single from Jonny, talks about just that - corporations ruling over the little people. Things need to be balanced out, and the higher they are, the further they have to fall...
