Allergy Sufferers Have FOMO and Would Give Up Crazy Stuff to Have No Symptoms

Seeing flowers bloom in the spring can make some people spring a leak in their eyes.

Not only do they have allergies, but they’ve got a bad case of FOMO – or fear of missing out when it comes to fun springtime activities.

That’s according to a new study by OnePoll of 2,000 Americans on behalf of FLONASE.

The survey included folks who suffer from allergies and those who don’t.

Nearly half aren’t looking forward to spring because of allergies.

Symptoms are so bad, 2 in 3 allergy sufferers skip activities they love.

Despite the beautiful weather, if it’s a bad allergy day, 64% watch the day pass by from the couch and avoid going outside.

And just over half say allergies get in the way of their workouts.

The FLONASE survey also revealed 98% of sufferers reported that allergies make them less productive at work.

Thankfully, relief can be found in the medicine cabinet.

84% said they can control their allergies with medications and other treatments.

That seems like a better alternative than some of the top five things allergy sufferers would give up to be symptom-free, like giving up alcohol for a year, skipping the final season of a hit show or even giving up chocolate for a year.

Doesn’t sound very sweet to me.
