People across Asia were given a rare glimpse of a special variation of the solar eclipse. It's dubbed a "ring of fire", when the Moon is far enough from Earth to leave a small area around the Sun visible. Sky-gazers from the Middle East, southern India, and Southeast Asia were all able to witness the full phenomenon.
