In Mousesteps Weekly #330, we talk about Epcot Festival of the Holidays, Gaylord Palms ICE! and more. Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is now running through December 30th, 2019 and includes a variety of storytellers and musical acts around World Showcase. We check out a few of those, including Père Noël in France and the Chinese Lion Dancers in the China pavilion. We also stop in to see Belle, who is wearing her Enchanted Christmas dress at the France gazebo.
After visiting Belle, we had a lunch reservation for Chefs de France. This is one of our favorite lunch locations in World Showcase, and talk briefly about our meal.
Next, we head over to see the Voices of Liberty as Dickens Carolers at the American Adventure. There is also a Washington D.C. monument gingerbread display that expands each year and we show that.
After Epcot, we continued our tradition of visiting Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Walt Disney World Dolphin (for the tree lighting ceremony and meet)! We also stop by the Swan to see the lifesize chocolate Santa and then Disney's Boardwalk Resort for the gingerbread display.
Gaylord Palms is another tradition for us, and this year our very favorite ICE! display ever is up featuring The Polar Express. There is also a lot that is included with visiting Gaylord Palms during the holiday season, from the tree lighting to Cirque Dreams Unwrapped and a new show called "The Greatest Story" on select days. Guests can also pay extra and have a wider experience with snow tubing, snow throwing and much more.
