So I planned this Bike Park Wales group ride months ago on my Facebook page in order to see if we could get a huge turnout for the final ride out of 2019 in Bike Park Wales. The idea was simply to come in some kind of costume or Christmas jumper. Over the course of those months it was amazing to see that 30 people made the effort to tag along for the event. This is just testament to how well the group is growing and how involved riders want to be.
The idea every time for Bike Park Wales is to hit in a blue run initially in order to get the juices flowing and then hit into whatever takes your fancy for the rest of the day. We all ride a different skill levels and ability so staying together all day just wouldn't work on any group ride here. This way ensures that everyone gets the most of the day.
My plan was to hit into Dai Hard as the 2nd trail to conquer it without coming off this time and hit into other harder trails throughout the day in mix it up. That I did without issue this time round. Was so stocked finally to come away without some kind injury.
There were a few issues with mechanicals (Chain) again I must say, but I managed to plod on.
Everyone had an amazing time at bike park wales, the weather held out well considering it was raining in the week. What a belter of a day. Roll on the next one.
