Everyone, meet Abul!

Abul is a doctor from Bangladesh who was stuck on a Band 6 in IELTS Writing before he came to me for help.

I’m delighted that Abul finally got the score he deserved after he changed his mindset, worked hard and ‘unlearned’ a lot of information (we’ll explain this in more detail in the video above).

I have no doubt that the biggest reason for Abul’s improvement was his MINDSET.

When he realised there were no shortcuts to getting a Band 7, Abul was able to focus his time and energy on the information that helped him and ignore the ‘tips’ and ‘tricks’ that didn’t.

In this fascinating conversation, Abul will reveal how his mindset helped him to improve his score AND share some insightful connections between IELTS preparation and treating diabetes... (I’m not joking!)

Here’s what else we’ll discuss:

00:50 - Abul’s IELTS journey

04:01 - Tips, tricks and shortcuts

06:26 - The biggest change Abul made to improve his score

08:54 - What to look for in an IELTS teacher

11:03 - Fixing the REAL problem

13:55 - Choosing the Computer-Based or Paper-Based IELTS exam

15:37 - Managing your time in IELTS Writing

I’m so glad that I was able to help Abul get the score he needed to complete his IELTS journey and move on to the next chapter of his life.

But as Abul mentions in our conversation, it doesn’t matter how skilled your IELTS teacher is if you are not willing to invest the time and do the work as he did. If you want to get a high score but don’t want to work for it, your IELTS journey will be a very long one.

If you’re ready to do the work and get feedback on your weak areas just like Abul did, you can join the Waiting List for my VIP Course here:

Your questions answered:

❓ What course is Abul talking about?

πŸ“š My VIP Course - it’s an online course that connects you with real IELTS teachers for expert guidance and feedback on your work. You can learn more about it here:

❓ Can I join your VIP Course?

πŸ“š Unfortunately, my team is fully booked right now and the VIP Course is closed. To register your name for future intakes, you can join the Waiting List here:

❓ Abul mentions Jason - who is he?

πŸ“š Jason is one of the IELTS experts on our Academic Team - he specialises in making feedback videos on our VIP students’ essays! You can read more about our team here:

❓ Is it possible for me to score a Band 8?

πŸ“š Yes! However, less than ⅓ of all IELTS applicants score a Band 7+, so you need to make sure you’re getting the correct support and feedback if you want to score a Band 8 just like Abul did.

❓ If I join your VIP Course, can you guarantee a Band 7 or above?

πŸ“š We can’t guarantee anything - you NEED to do the work.

However, through personal guidance and honest feedback, we’ve helped more students score a Band 7+ than any other IELTS course in the world. You can watch our IELTS success stories here:
