How Dating, Recharging with Family & Kicking it with Buddies Skyrockets Progress in the Gym

How Dating, Recharging with Family & Kicking it with Buddies Skyrockets Progress in the Gym The hidden and unknown power of human interaction has a large-scale effect on progress in the gym. More often than not, we associate lots of pleasure from hanging out with friends and family, and from girls even (or maybe a guy - if you’re a lady).

The true power of this message is something that once realized and taken advantage of, can prove to enhance your progress. Lifting weights (for me) takes up about 2 hours a week right now. For some it may take longer, but I’m more of a minimalist in my training as I find it really has solid effects on my strength gains.

Adding in time with others creates an almost “nurturing” effect, a recharge. This is the equivalent to perhaps spending a few hours on the sun at the beach, or getting a great nights rest.

The simple “reward” that we associate with social engagement is a strong driver, and partially, it’s a primary motivator actually when getting into this beautiful practice of lifting weights!

Think of this as a tool you can add to your arsenal, using social engagement as a true recharge to fuel your gains, and goals with your physique.
