Cross Island Line to run on direct route under Central Catchment Nature Reserve

Singapore's future Cross Island MRT line will run on a direct route under the country's biggest nature reserve. The line will connect the east and west of the country.
The Ministry of Transport said it will be built 70m below the Central Catchment Nature Reserve.
