This Egg Will Be A Hit – You've Definitely Never Had One Like It! 3 Fancy Potato Snacks For Special Occasions | Have you had your fill of boring potatoes? Then it's time to spice up the tuber! These 3 fancy potato snacks will renew your love for the so-called "earth apple."

1. Potato Egg

You'll Need:

For the mashed potatoes:

- 1 lb potatoes, peeled and cooked
- 2 shallots, diced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tbsp cilantro
- 1 green chili, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, grated
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp salt

Extra:

- plastic wrap
- 4 soft boiled eggs

Here's How: 

1.1 Preheat the oven to 350°F. Mash the cooled potatoes and stir in the rest of the mashed potato ingredients.

1.2 Put a quarter of the mashed potato mixture on plastic wrap.

1.3 Fold the plastic wrap over and flatten the mixture.

1.4 Place a peeled, soft boiled egg in the middle of the mashed potato mixture.

1.5 Use the plastic to fully wrap the potato mixture around the egg. Repeat the process with the remaining potato mixture and eggs.

1.6 Line a pan with parchment paper and place all 4 potato eggs on the pan. Use a fork to create the design shown in the video.

1.7 Bake for 12 minutes.

2. Potato Chips

You'll Need:

- 14 oz potatoes
- oil for frying
- salt
- paprika

Here's How:

2.1 Cut the potatoes into very thin slices and soak them in water for about 5 minutes.

2.2 Blot the potato slices with paper towels to remove excess water.

2.3 Fry the potatoes in hot oil for about 4-5 minutes, until golden brown.

2.4 Season the homemade potato chips with salt and paprika.

3. Tandoori Potatoes

You'll Need:

For the potatoes & marinade:

- 5½ oz plain yogurt
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 lb small cooked potatoes
- 3 tbsp oil for frying

For the dip:

- 7 oz plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp mint
- salt & pepper

Here's How:

3.1 Prepare the marinade using the above ingredients.

3.2 Cut the small potatoes in half, add them to the bowl, and fully coat them in the marinade.

3.3 Fry the marinated potatoes in hot oil until nice and crispy.

3.4 Prepare the dip using the above ingredients and serve alongside the tandoori potatoes.
