How to Automatically Log an Inactive User Out of Your Bubble App

How to Automatically Log an Inactive User Out of Your Bubble App Here's a new tutorial for a Bubble.io feature one of our VIP Members requested:

"How do you log users out of your app once they're inactive?"

(In other words, if a user hasn’t touched your Bubble app after a certain amount of time, you automatically log them out.)

There are a number of reasons why you might want to do this, but most often, apps use this as a security feature...

Maybe a user is on a public computer, and you don’t want them to accidentally stay logged in if they forget to close out the app.

Or, maybe information in the app is sensitive in some way, and you don’t want to risk it being open and available if a user clearly isn’t interacting with the app (banks often do this).

Whatever your specific reason is, adding an extra layer of protection like this can put users (and yourself) at ease.

To learn how to build this feature in your own Bubble app, watch this video lesson now.

It’s a quick and easy way to make a big difference when it comes to safety and user experience.
