This change is expected to save patients up to NT$200 a week.Also in March 2020, the health insurance program will increase its pharmacy subsidies for traditional Chinese medicine. The rate will be raised from NT$35 a day to NT$37. The government says this update will cost an extra NT$629 million a year.
