Georgia protesters attempt to shut down state buildings Opposition protesters in several cities in Georgia have attempted to shut down state buildings with padlocks and chains.
It follows more than a week of angry demonstrations over parliament's failure to approve planned electoral reforms.
The opposition is now coming together and employing new tactics to keep the government under pressure - including pop-up rallies and blocking access to ministerial buildings.
