This was my first wet track day and what a great experience it was! I was using pirelli wet tyres and it was soaking wet all day, I was so shocked how much grip you can get in these conditions! It took me half a day to gain this trust in the tyres of course but by the end of the day I was so confident and happy pushing my limit.
The only issue I found was fog in my visor even with pin lock that is something I need to look at in the future for sure.
Thanks to msv they had liam haslam as a special quest and got 30 mins pointers on entry corner and exit and also 30mins in body positioning, that itself was worth turning up for!
I managed to walk out with a 58second lap time and I'm genuinely looking forward to doing another wet track day.
