Senate to begin probe on controversial early release of inmates on Sept. 2 | Top Story

The Senate Blue Ribbon Committee will probe next week the controversial early release of inmates for good conduct, particularly the case of convicted rapist-killer and former Mayor Antonio Sanchez.
Committee Chairman Senator Richard Gordon says convicts who committed heinous crimes should not be eligible for early release under GCTA.
