Ishant Sharma isn't known for his prowess with the bat, but he stitched a fabulous partnership with centurion Hanuma Vihari and ended up hitting his first Test fifty before tea on Day 2, much to the delight of the entire Indian dressing room. The unlikely knock of 57 runs from 80 balls helped take the first innings to total past 400.
