Individual features of blockchain may still have value

Individual features of blockchain may still have value Today I've been thinking about how the whole blockchain package may not be needed by developers for specific projects - sometimes a specific function of blockchain may provide enough value for it to be used. For example, I was talking to Anton Valle about how a single blockchain node running next to a web framework may provide extra security when coding up a "credits for purchase" system.

No multiple nodes, no decentralized ownership, no "trust-building" - just something a bit more secure than a number in a MySQL database...

blockchain,security,programming,don't roll your own,
