BOER GOATS (New Integrated Goat Farming Project)

BOER GOATS!
Integrated goat farming is to be our latest project here on our farm.
We are looking at keeping goats for weed control & fertilizing the land & improving the quality of our soil.

We already integrate our poultry into this farming system & stepping up in size to include goat livestock feels like a natural progression for us.

Boar goats are quite a large breed & are classified as a meat goat.
We are aiming to start with 3-4 young goats, to begin with, & then take it from there.

Unfortunately, our attempt at buying goats wasn't successful but it was still an enjoyable time spent none the less.
