Archie christening: Kate Middleton and Prince William arrive - where are their children?

Archie christening: Kate Middleton and Prince William arrive - where are their children? Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is receiving all the trappings of a royal baptism today attended by senior members of the Family. The small service has been shrouded in secrecy in line with the wishes of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle  who have opted to keep the press and public away. Archie’s christening is being held in the Queen’s private chapel, Windsor Castle, which can only accommodate up to 3 guests. With space being so tight, Harry and Meghan will no doubt have had to be selective about which guests they want to be present. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are confirmed attendees, having been spotted making their way into Windsor Castle this morning. Prince William was seen driving into the royal residence’s rear entrance with wife Kate sat next to him in the front. There was no sign of Prince George, Princess Charlotte or Prince Louis so it looks like the three Cambridge children stayed at home. The three youngsters are Archie’s first cousins. READ MORE: ROYAL CHRISTENING: SHOCK REASON PRINCESS ANNE REFUSED TO ATTEND: ‘FULL-SCALE FAMILY ROW’  A helicopter was also seen arriving at Windsor Castle earlier. Prince Charles and his wife Camilla were believed to have been on board. Despite royal fans struggling to gain any real glimpse of the comings and goings, some still chose to make the journey to Windsor to show their support. Anne Daley, 63, travelled from Wales with her dog Camilla for the occasion, who she dressed in a special christening outfit. READ MORE: BABY ARCHIE IS ‘NOT PRIVATE CITIZEN’ DESPITE MEGHAN MARKLE AND PRINCE HARRY’S WISHES  The royalist even got up 5am and baked a cake for the occasion. She told Press Association she was “hurt” that the service was not public. Ms Daley said: "We love everything about the royals. We've seen hands and feet, little fingers. But we're very hurt. I pay a lot of tax for their civil duties. "One minute they want to be royals, the next they don't. READ MORE: ARCHIE ROYAL CHRISTENING: SHOCK AS HARRY AND MEGHAN’S SON ‘WILL NEVER TAKE UP ROYAL DUTY  "That baby is Princess Diana's grandson. We should be able to see the christening. "They want to have their cake and eat it. A lot of people don't like to see them hang around the fake celebrities. Forget Hollywood. They are royal.” However Chris Imafidon, who was also outside Windsor Castle, said he understood the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s appeal for privacy. He said: It's fascinating, a great thing. You can't have a public or private christening. “A christening is a public event, but every mother wants to protect their baby especially because of the shadow looming over them.” Pictures of the day will be taken by photographer Chris Allerton and released later on today, Buckingham Palace said.
