What’s going on guys! In today’s video, I'm gonna give you 5 of the BEST muscle building tips you can ever learn when it comes to taking supplements!

I used to be a very skinny kid growing up, and unfortunately I wasted a ton of money and time taking a bunch of supplements that did absolutely nothing for me. However, there were a few that actually worked really well for me and today I'm going to share those tips with you so you can avoid the frustration, loss of money and loss of time that I had to deal with.

The first tip is that supplements are not necessary. You don't need supplements - you can get your dream body without taking any supplements, you must dial in your workouts rest and diet properly first. These are the base of your cake as I like to compare it to. Once you have your base, you can add the icing on the cake (supplements) to make it even better.

The second tip is to do your research first. Google is your friend here - look at each label of the supplement you're interested in, google those ingredients and look over studies to verify they will do what they claim to do.

The third tip is to start taking creatine. Creatine is by far the most researched backed proven supplement on the market for putting on size and strength faster. Creatine increases your ATP which helps you to recover between sets faster, delays the onset of fatigue so you can get more reps in your sets and lift heavier weight at the same time.

Tip #4 is to stop thinking protein powder is the answer to magically gain muscle. I want you guys to understand why supplements are called supplements - you should supplement them into your regimen. They are not the be all, end all. Protein is crucial for putting on muscle, but real food is always better than a protein supplement. If you have a choice between real food and a protein shake - eat the real food.

Tip #5 is to find a pre workout that you like. Some people like stimulants, others don't want the stimulants. There's a ton of different pre workouts out there - so think about what you want out of one and try different ones out. Beta alanine, and l-tyrosine are two crucial ingredients you should be looking for in any pre workout.
