Angry Spurs fans slam Thomas Cook for lack of information just two days before Champions League fina TOTTENHAM fans blasted travel company Thomas Cook after having to wait until this evening to receive their itinerary details for their flights to Madrid - just 48 hours before the Champions League final.  Supporters complained en masse on Twitter after being promised the information by 6pm on Wednesday.  But some were still none the wiser as the clock ticked closer and closer to kick off in football's biggest club clash.  Plenty of Spurs supporters applied for a £559 return flight to Madrid from London so they could get out to see their side in the Champions League final for the first time.  But after closing applications early due to the high demand, Thomas Cook Sport were left scrambling to get the info for the six chartered flights for Spurs supporters sent out.  It follows the chaos Chelsea and Arsenal fans endured trying to get to Baku for the Europa League final.  Many Blues travelling were stranded at Luton Airport yesterday, on the morning of the game, and only set off at 10am UK time following a delay of two hours.  It meant dozens of fans on Twitter were having to wait until the last minute to arrange travel to and from the airport.  @DaveNorton5 wrote: "@thomascook what is going on? Booked with you for Madrid with @Spurs from Stansted. Still heard nothing. Do I need to panic/arrange something else?"  @Revill82 added: "So @thomascooksport it's now Wednesday and customers were informed we receive flight times today BEFORE 18:00. Guess what? No flight times for a match which kicks off in three days time. You are losing customers." FANS' FURY  Meanwhile, @benlawrence8 tweeted: "It is less than 48 hours before I am due to travel and I don't know my itinerary. This is not good enough. These flights better be what was promised cause if they're not there's no way to remedy it at this late stage is there."  @Wadz73 wrote: "6 o'clock comes and goes for details about out flights to Madrid!!! If you can't give us anything definitive at least have the courtesy to let us know what the situation is!!!!!"  @sampford88 said: "Less than 48 hours. Shocking considering what's been paid."  And @NFE1968 fumed: "@THSTOfficial still no flight details from @thomascooksport they say 3-5 days before, 3 days from now is Saturday evening! Its just the worst tour operator service I've ever seen and I worked in the business for 15 years."  Thomas Cook Sport replied to as many tweets as possible to apologise for the inconvenience and assure customers that the final tweaks were being sorted.  A statement said: “We’ve been working closely with Stansted and Madrid Airports, air traffic control and government transport authorities to finalise flight times during an exceptionally busy day for Madrid airport.  "Five of our six flights will land at least six hours before kick-off so supporters will have plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere and head to the stadium.  "We’re working to bring forward the sixth flight and we’ll update fans as soon as we can."
