IDLIB: The battles to liberate demiliatarised zones - remembering families of SAA and NDF

IDLIB: The battles to liberate demiliatarised zones - remembering families of SAA and NDF Praying for the families of the soldiers in the #SAA and #NDF who are waiting for news of their husbands, fathers, brothers, sons, daughters and loved ones who are battling terrorism in Idlib and northern Hama.

This is the legacy of U.S Coalition "interventionism" - grief, bloodshed and loss. All of these families have remained steadfast despite their pain, despite all they have suffered. We should never forget how it is to live under occupation, siege and threat of massacre on a daily basis for eight years. This is what the West has imposed upon these people. Living with ghosts, living with fear. Surviving with hope, surviving with prayer and belief in the ultimate victory of faith over evil - RESISTING.

Never forget.

Song: Julia Boutros, Al Haqqu Silahee

Righteousness is my weapon and I resist
Despite my injuries, I will resist
I will not give up, I will not give in
And when it comes to my country, I shall never compromise
Righteousness is my weapon and I resist
Despite my injuries, I will resist.

My home is here
My land is here
The sea, the plain and the river are ours
And, how in the face of fire, can I be peaceful?
I will resist

Oh my homeland, your enemy has been trounced
and the whole world wasn't able to subjugate you
The people of my country resisted the madness of the winds
And defied the fear and the danger

They leave and we are here to stay
And the land will be forever ours
Here we are today, much stronger
Stronger in every battle

They leave and we are here to stay
And the land will be forever ours .....

My home is here
My land is here
The sea, the plain and the river are ours
And, how in the face of fire, can I be peaceful?
I will resist
