Vital Vinyl Vlog: Convulse-World Without God - -
(yes I know I fucked up the name of the 1990, “Resuscitation Of Evil” demo I accidentally said resurrection I apologize)
- - (YouTube Vinyl Rip)
First off thank you so much to Dennis from Florida for sending this via Amazon who actually got it here in one piece for an awesome price! This is also the 2018 Svart Records Re-Issue with the 1990 Of ,” Resuscitation Of Evilness” (My bad I said Resurrection I might have to start scripting these LOL).
But if you do not know this record you’re not going to find it on bandcamp so you’re gonna have to deal with the YouTube rip,Or hunt down a physical copy I’m pretty sure CD copies of the radius you still exist for a decent price and the LP can be found if you just dig around a little bit but this is awesome you get the original 10 tracks that make up the masterpiece of Finnish Death Metal that is,”World Without God” Hey 1991 jam originally available only on vinyl by the now defunct, “Thrash Records” Who actually released a bunch of Bangers in their time (R.I.P).
But in the mid 90s death metal it got really weird and tried becoming commercial which obviously did not work out too well for most of the bands signed two pretty terrible deals but hey if you’re 17 playing extreme music back in that time. And your underground label says hey Columbia records is interested in you guys of course you’re going to jump on it instead of eating Ramen noodles and sleeping in the tour van not knowing that you just put your musical integrity on the line I don’t know if ,”Convulse” Ever planned on becoming a weird stoner-ish Death & Roll Band with weird proggy stuff... But a lot of bands in the late 90s we’re going in this route. Especially in the Finnish scene.
But,”Convulse” On July 7 of this year are coming to New York City and playing a “World Without God” set!!!
So even they have acknowledged the importance of this record. So if you’ve never heard this order this is an old friend give it a blast today and bang your fucking head for Death Metal!
