According to a report by Comicbook.com, Avengers: Endgame has already overtaken Avatar at the Chinese box office, raking in 217.4 million-dollars in just three days, more than the 204.1 million Avatar made over the course of its entire run. While Endgame would reportedly have to boost their numbers in order to take down Avatar worldwide, however already surpassing the total in China is probably a good sign for Marvel Studios. Comicbook.com suggests that if the movie can stay strong in the weeks to come, it has a good chance of dethroning Avatar as the highest-ever grossing film worldwide.
